Planning a trip to Georgia from Moscow in 2026 is entirely doable despite the absence of direct flights. Via Istanbul, Dubai or Yerevan you can reach Tbilisi in 5–8 total hours. Once there, a single trip lets you explore the Kazbegi mountains, taste qvevri wine in Kakheti, wander medieval streets of Tbilisi and soak in the famous sulfur baths — all at a budget that will surprise even seasoned travellers. An independent trip with a private guide costs 25–35% less than a package tour while delivering a far richer experience.
