Tbilisi was made for romance. The old quarters with wooden balconies, the Metekhi terrace overlooking the Kura River, sunset over Narikala — all of this creates an atmosphere that is hard to find anywhere else.
We meet two hours before sunset, at Metekhi Bridge. The walk begins in Abanotubani: sulfur bathhouses, their domes, grapevines on balconies. Timur will find the best angles for couple photos against the backdrop of the domed rooftops.
Then comes the ascent to Narikala. The moment the sunset hits the fortress walls, the entire city of Tbilisi is spread out in golden light. This is the view people come here for. Timur steps back and leaves the couple alone with the panorama for 20–30 minutes. This is the heart of the tour.
After sunset, we descend into the old town. Cobblestones on Shardeni Street, candlelit cafes, the scent of wine. Timur recommends a restaurant with a balcony above the Kura — from there you can see the illuminated Metekhi Bridge. Dinner is yours to order independently; the guide steps away once you're seated.
On request — a rose from the guide at the start of the tour, or a surprise arrangement: flowers at the restaurant, a special dessert. If you're planning a marriage proposal, Timur will choose the perfect location and moment. Get in touch in advance to arrange the details.
Tbilisi is built for two: the sunset from Narikala fortress, dinner on a terrace overlooking the old city, a stroll across the illuminated Peace Bridge. I design the route for each couple individually — from the quiet courtyards of Avlabari to the panoramic café on Mount Mtatsminda. On request I can arrange a bottle of Saperavi and churchkhela at the viewpoint. Many couples return to Tbilisi on their anniversary — the city stays with you forever.
For couples: start with breakfast on a rooftop in Sololaki, then take the cable car up to Narikala (panoramic view of the whole city), walk through the Botanical Garden. In the evening — dinner with live music. I can arrange flowers or a cake in advance.

The best seasons are spring (April–May) and autumn (September–October): mild climate, the city in bloom, and fresh wine harvest. Summer evenings are warm, and nighttime walks are especially atmospheric.
I plan the romantic tour so that the highlight — sunset over Tbilisi — lands exactly during golden hour. Start time is 1.5–2 hours before sundown. In summer that's 19:00–19:30; in spring and autumn it's 17:30–18:00.
We begin in the sulfur bath district. This is Tbilisi's most picturesque street — the domed bathhouses, the Persian tilework on the 18th-century Orbeliani facade, and the cobbled path along the stream. A leisurely walk while I share the history of the neighborhood and show you courtyards that don't appear on any map. If the couple wants to visit a private sulfur bath, I book it in advance — one hour for two costs ₾80–120.
We climb to Narikala fortress — either on foot through the park (15 minutes) or by cable car from Rike Park (₾5 per person, 4-minute ride). On the walls of the 4th-century fortress lies the most important point of the tour. I give the couple 20–30 minutes alone with the view of all of historic Tbilisi as the sky shifts from blue to orange and pink. This is the moment many people come back to Tbilisi to relive.
After sunset we descend into the lanes of the old town. I show you the finest 19th-century balcony courtyards — carved railings, wisteria on the walls, warm lamplight from the windows. We pass by Metekhi Church with its view of the Kura — one of the city's most beautiful vantage points at dusk. This is the best spot for memorable couple photos.
We finish on Shardeni Street, Tbilisi's restaurant row with terraces above the river. I help you choose a restaurant and, if needed, book the table in advance (I recommend doing this). Average bill for two: ₾120–200 with a bottle of local wine. If you want something special — candles, flowers, live music — mention it when booking and I'll arrange it.
If you're planning a proposal or a special occasion, let me know in advance. I know several exceptional city spots with the right lighting and privacy: the Metekhi viewpoint, a hidden courtyard in Abanotubani, a terrace above the vineyards in Mtskheta (available on an extended tour). I can help with flowers (ordered a day ahead, ₾30–60), champagne, or a professional photographer (₾150–200/hour).
The tour starts from your hotel in Tbilisi. I pick you up in a comfortable air-conditioned car. Group size: up to 7 people — children are welcome. Payment in GEL (₾) by cash or transfer. Booking via WhatsApp — I reply within 10–15 minutes and send a confirmation with route details.
In high season (May–October) I recommend booking 3–5 days in advance. In winter and shoulder season, one day ahead is usually fine. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start. If the weather turns bad, we reschedule at no extra cost.
Guide services in English and all itinerary-related assistance. Not included: dinner (average restaurant bill ₾80–150 per couple), cable car ticket (optional, ₾5 per person), personal purchases and souvenirs.

We went to Kazbegi — Timur convinced us the special atmosphere was worth it. Snow by the church, silence. The most romantic day of the trip.
